Exercise is not a problem, and I am fine with the grooming.
How much do they usually cost? And does the AKC not recognizing the Shikoku make a difference?
I believe the breeds temperaments are about equal, they are both hunting dogs, both closely tied with nature, about the same size... there are a breeder of both dogs in Canada, and they have some very great information on both breeds and their differences
